Junior Full Stack Developer based in South Africa
About
I'm a Junior Full Stack Developer based in South Africa, currently building a structured information-gathering platform for the insurance industry at insdi.com, where I've owned features end-to-end from design through to production since February 2025.
My academic background is in Computer Science at Stellenbosch University, where I completed a BSc Cum Laude in 2023 and a BSc Honours Cum Laude in 2024. My Honours thesis explored an interception proxy built in Java. Before university, I placed first in South Africa for Cambridge AS-Level Computer Science.
I enjoy working across the stack — from backend services in Java and Python to interactive frontends in Vue 3 — and I'm always looking for the next project to sink my teeth into.

Interception Proxy API (BSc Honours Thesis)
A Spring Boot service that exposes interception-proxy behaviour as HTTP API endpoints, so traffic can be intercepted and scripted from any language. Conventional tools like mitmproxy restrict scripting to the languages they embed; putting the proxy behind an API removes that constraint entirely. Built as the BSc Honours Computer Science research project at Stellenbosch University in 2024, as part of a Cum Laude Honours degree.
